01 What we do

Send the water
where it belongs.

Most drainage problems are really grading problems. We read how water moves across your property, then cut and fill to create positive slope away from the house, eliminate low spots that hold water, and leave a smooth, compacted surface ready for whatever comes next.

Q · 01
Why do I have water pooling in my yard?

Almost always a grading problem — the ground slopes toward a low spot or the house instead of away. We re-grade to create positive slope and add drainage where needed.

Q · 02
Can grading fix water in my basement?

Often, yes. Poor grade against the foundation sends water down the walls. Re-grading for positive slope and tying in downspouts is usually the first, cheapest fix.

Q · 03
Do you grade before sod or a patio?

Yes — proper grading is step one for any lawn or hardscape. A patio or lawn built on a bad grade will hold water and fail; we get the ground right first.

Q · 04
How much does grading cost?

It depends on the size of the area, how much cut-and-fill is needed, and access. Every quote is free, on-site and written.
