04 Frequently asked

Before you
sign a contract.

The questions we get from property managers and homeowners. Contracts are open for signature every October. Questions? Call (860) 841-2290.

Q · 01
When do you start plowing?

Automatic dispatch at 2" accumulation for residential, 1" for priority commercial. Pre-treatment on priority lots happens before forecasted storms regardless of accumulation.

Q · 02
Per-storm or seasonal pricing?

Both. Residential seasonal runs $1,200–$2,500 for the December–March season; commercial is a fixed monthly fee from $3,000 across the November–March season — budget certainty regardless of snowfall. Per-storm is also available, priced by accumulation tier. Pay in full before the season for a discounted rate.

Q · 03
Do you carry insurance?

Yes — general liability, workers' comp, and commercial auto on file. COI with additional insured endorsement issued to any property manager within 48 hours of contract signing. Coverage limits available on request.

Q · 04
What about slip-and-fall liability?

Our service logs document every visit with GPS timestamp, crew, and treatment applied. These records hold up in court — we've never had a claim succeed against a logged service event.

Q · 05
Contracts are open when?

Contracts open in early fall — reach out in September or October to lock a spot before routes fill. Discounted seasonal pricing is available for customers who pay in full before the start of the snow season. Existing clients get first renewal rights.

Q · 06
My previous plow guy damaged my lawn. Can you fix it?

Yes — we include spring turf repair in every seasonal contract, including damage inherited from a previous contractor. First year only on new accounts.
