A retaining wall does invisible work — holding back tons of soil and water — so when it fails, it fails big. We build engineered segmental and natural-stone walls with the base, backfill and drainage done right, so yours stays plumb and solid for decades.
Most wall failures come from what you cannot see: a weak base and nowhere for water to go. We over-build the footing, compact in lifts, install drainage stone and pipe behind the wall, and use engineered geogrid where the height demands it. The result holds — through mud season and every freeze-thaw after.
Engineered modular block walls for grade changes, terraces and level yards — strong, clean-lined and built to spec.
Fieldstone and quarried natural-stone walls, dry-laid or mortared, for a timeless New England look that lasts generations.
Where walls live or die. Over-built footing, compacted lifts, drainage stone and pipe, and geogrid where height requires it.

We’re a family-owned Connecticut company — the same crew from the first site visit through the final walk-through. We build every wall the way we’d build our own.
CT HIC.0703177, fully insured, and building in Hartford County since 2017. Permits and inspections handled for you.
No subcontractors we haven’t trained. The people who quote your wall are the master masons who build it.
Engineered bases, proper pitch and drainage, freeze-thaw-rated joints. We build so your wall survives February, not just the first summer.
We answer the phone, show up for the site visit, and turn a fixed, itemized quote around inside a week. No vague ranges, no pressure.

A properly engineered segmental retaining wall — correct base, backfill and drainage — can last 25 to 50+ years. The lifespan is decided underground, which is exactly where we do not cut corners.
Walls over four feet, and any wall supporting a structure or slope, typically require a permit and engineering. We handle permits and inspections as part of the build.
Cost depends on height, length, material and drainage needs. Taller engineered walls cost more because of the base and reinforcement — every quote is free, on-site and written.
Almost always from poor drainage and a weak base. We install drainage stone and pipe behind every wall and over-build the footing so water and frost cannot push it out.
